Services we provide

The endoscopy and medical day stay department provides:

  • extensive services, including diagnostic examination procedures and treatments
  • outpatient clinics
  • intravenous infusions, such as iron and blood transfusions
  • specialised medications for patients with long-term conditions.

Services we provide include:

  • intravenous infusions
  • colonoscopy — to look at your colon (large bowel)
  • gastroscopy — to look at the upper part of your digestive system
  • flexible sigmoidoscopy — to look at the lining of your anus, rectum and lower part of the colon (large bowel)
  • endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography — to look at the ducts or 'drainage tubes' of your gallbladder, pancreas and liver
  • bronchoscopy — to look at your voice box, throat and air passages inside the lungs
  • camera capsule endoscopy — to look at your small intestine
  • bravo pH tests — to monitor how often and for how long your stomach aced comes up (gastro-oesophageal reflux) during a normal day
  • trans-oesophageal echocardiography — to look at and take photos of the structures of your heart and aorta, through the oesophagus (throat).
